Overview
As the Marketing Manager at Simple Details, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth and building a world-class brand experience in a traditionally blue-collar industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll oversee all marketing activities—from campaign development to execution—ensuring that every initiative supports our mission to deliver a white-glove experience for our clients.
This role requires a balanced mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll lead the marketing team, collaborate across departments, and build scalable systems that elevate Simple Details’ brand presence and generate qualified leads.

- Are you located in Virginia Beach, VA, or willing to relocate for this role? (Although we offer a hybrid work arrangement, applicants must live within a 25-mile radius of Virginia Beach, VA, and be available to work on-site at least three days per week.)
Only candidates who meet all of the following minimum requirements will be considered:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and advertising
- 2+ years of management experience leading a marketing team
- Proven experience in funnel optimization and copywriting
- 3+ years of proven experience with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads+SEO), Facebook Ads, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to build or scale a marketing team in a startup or high-growth environment
- Proficiency with website tools and tracking platforms (ex: WordPress, Clickfunnels, Hyros)
- Comfort working directly with a high-performance CEO and adjusting quickly to feedback
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including proficiency with performance metrics and reporting
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and drive measurable growth

Responsibilities
- Support business objectives, lead acquisition, and elevate brand presence through targeted marketing efforts.
- Lead the marketing team in developing and executing digital and traditional campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Google, YouTube, Instagram, Company Websites - WordPress, etc.).
- Provide expert guidance to develop innovative advertising, PR, social media, and event strategies.
- Inspire the marketing team to think creatively and design cross-channel campaigns that engage, educate, and convert.
- Maintain a robust research database, identifying and assembling marketing insights to guide decision-making.
- Identify issues and opportunities within marketing initiatives and recommend actionable solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend advertising platforms based on campaign goals, target audience, and ROI.
- Determine the company’s presence at conventions, trade shows, and industry events to maximize exposure.
- Assess and recommend hiring or restructuring needs within the Marketing Team to support growth and scalability.
- Collaborate with creative teams, internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Communicate weekly with other leaders to ensure full alignment and unified direction for all marketing efforts.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, including promotional calendars, product/service launches, and other high-impact projects.
- Oversee and refine social media strategy and presence to strengthen the brand’s reputation and visibility.
- Book at least 25 qualified consults per week.
- Maintain a minimum 3X ROAS each week to ensure campaign profitability.
- Plan, launch, and manage 2–3 new marketing campaigns per month across primary platforms (Facebook, Google, YouTube, Instagram, and WordPress-based website).
- Deliver weekly performance reports to leadership, covering key metrics such as Cost per Lead (CPL), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Cost per Mille (CPM), and conversion rates.
- Maintain a detailed quarterly promotional calendar that outlines all major campaigns, events, and product/service launches.
- Ensure every marketing campaign is launched on time and stays within budget parameters.
- Oversee and support your marketing team to ensure they consistently meet their individual KPIs.
