Overview

Media Supervisor (HCP) – Location: Chicago, IL. Hybrid work model (2 days a week in office). Salary: $85k-115k. We are seeking a highly skilled Media Supervisor for our client, a progressive media agency in downtown Chicago. The role focuses on developing and executing multi-channel media plans that drive business results and collaborating with the planning team to manage budgets and analyze campaign performance. This position will work on a large healthcare account and requires experience in Pharma/Healthcare, including HCP campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on high level strategy development to inform cross-channel planning
  • Deliver evidence-based media solutions aligned with client objectives
  • Guide the planning process and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables
  • Provide daily counsel to clients and serve as a primary tactical liaison
  • Take ownership of the team’s work, delegate, manage workflow, and ensure quality control
  • Supervise and develop team members with ongoing communication and coaching

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in media planning and buying
  • 1+ year of supervising direct reports
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience with media planning, buying and technology platforms including Lumina, MRI-Simmons, Prisma, Scarborough, Telmar, and Vivvix
  • Experience with platforms such as Commspoint, Comscore, GeoPath, Media Ocean, Nielsen, Pathmatics, Placer.AI, Point Logic, SpyFu, Crossix, Eyeota, Medscape, MD Linx, Doximity (preferred)
  • Strong ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations based on research findings
  • Digital and traditional execution capabilities
  • Ability to handle multiple clients or brands as a supervising lead

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in media planning and buying, including HCP
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation
  • Knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs) and marketing automation tools
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging media channels
