Overview

Tombras, a 400+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Media Strategy Supervisor. This role is based in Knoxville or Atlanta, with relocation assistance possible. As a Media Strategy Supervisor, you’ll develop a cross-channel media strategy across digital and traditional channels and lead a team through the execution designed to meet or exceed client expectations. You will collaborate with Traditional, Social, Search, Programmatic, Digital Investment and Analytics departments to coordinate plans and deliver integrated recommendations.

What you will be doing

  • Assist the AMD in setting overall strategic direction for digital and traditional media campaigns and determining which metrics will be used to track campaign success
  • Lead a planning team to support campaign creation and oversight
  • Integrate digital and traditional media campaign recommendations into a seamless, cohesive strategy that meets client goals
  • Coordinate with Channel teams regarding tactics and rationale to deliver on strategic goals
  • Build and update media flowcharts and manage buy authorizations
  • Work with Channel and Analytics teams to ensure proper tracking of campaigns
  • Monitor pre- and post-launch quality assurance checks and balances through collaboration with Channel teams
  • Deliver reporting that uncovers actionable insights into campaign performance
  • Provide thought leadership by staying current with media research and industry trends
  • Mentor and develop your team to support personal growth and training

What you bring

  • 7+ years of agency experience in media planning and buying with knowledge of paid search, paid social and programmatic
  • 1+ years of team management and cross-department collaboration
  • Experience with planning tools such as MRI, Scarborough, NMI, Market Mate, AdIntel, Lumina, etc.
  • Creativity in developing strategic media plans and the ability to provide rationale
  • Ability to see the “big picture” across campaigns and client goals
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
