Overview

Digital Media Tutor position providing 1-on-1 online tutoring to students via the Varsity Tutors platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, live online instruction to individual students in Digital Media.
• Set your own schedule and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Utilize the Live Learning Platform to deliver remote tutoring sessions.
• Match with students who fit your teaching style and expertise.
• Incorporate tools such as AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and save prep time.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
• Set your own hours and work remotely—no commuting required.
• AI-powered tools and platform features to support teaching and engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Digital Media and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
