Location: Harvard University, 20 Western Avenue, Boston, MA 02134. Note: online applications accepted only.
Schedule: Full Time; Monday through Saturday, hours may vary between 7:00am-7:00pm.
Pay Rate: $37.50-$38.46 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Oversees staff setup, testing, maintenance, asset management, operation, and tear down of audiovisual (AV) and videoconference (VTC) equipment (e.g., projection systems, computers, audio and videoconference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems, and integrated AV systems).
- Provides best effort assistance to fulfill audiovisual technical requirements as assigned.
- Provides a monthly report containing room usage data, open action items, equipment maintenance, and upcoming preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintains the process used to create trouble tickets, customer issue resolution logs, and asset management.
- Executes all aspects of videoconference support including call setup, end user training, troubleshooting, and escalation follow-up.
- Provides consultation and education to end users on presentation technologies.
- Troubleshoots audiovisual and videoconferencing technology (projectors, control systems, audio, videoconferencing).
- Maintains conference room integrity and performs regular preventive maintenance checks.
- Escalates housekeeping and technical issues outside of AV and conferencing technology to the appropriate department.
- Maintains understanding of current and new presentation technology.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Five to seven years audiovisual technology management experience
- Five to seven years AV and presentation technologies experience
- Three to five years customer service experience
- Strong working knowledge of AV and videoconferencing technology
- Strong customer service and communications skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to facilitate tasks with internal and external staff to ensure meeting and event success
- Understanding of normal business and office procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced university/conference center environment
- Self-motivated independent thinker
- CTS certification by InfoComm (preferred)
- Industry relevant training or technical courses a plus
- Basic familiarity with building design and construction, including HVAC, electrical, lighting, building controls, and security
