The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online PRAXIS Music tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Accept on-demand/Instant Tutoring requests whenever you’re available.
• Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PRAXIS Music and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Logistics

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. Rates can reach up to $40/hour with the same student over time.
• Get paid up to twice per week; you invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions.
