Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform offers online PRAXIS Music tutoring to students nationwide. Tutors have the flexibility to set their own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to PRAXIS Music students.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Deliver personalized instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
• Utilize the Live Learning Platform to tutor remotely, with real-time instructional support when needed.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics.
• Be matched with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with the same student over time.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Work remotely with no commuting required.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time.

• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in PRAXIS Music with clear concept explanations.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
