Join to apply for the Associate Pastor/Music Director role at Georgia Baptist Mission Board.

Assist the Senior Pastor with daily administration of the church, schedule, plan, and coordinate all worship services.
Oversee Youth Director, Children's Director, and Administrative Assistant.
Assist the Senior Pastor to fulfill his role as the primary spiritual leader, vision caster, and pastor/teacher of the church.
Assist the Senior Pastor with projects, hospital and homebound visitations, pastoral care, counseling, and support at funerals and weddings, as needed.
Assist the Senior Pastor with daily operations of the church.

Direct and development of the Praise Team, Adult Choir, and Orchestra.
Oversee the development of music programs and choirs for teens and children.
Recruit and train all prospective sound and light crew.
Arrange and coordinate the use of music, sound, lighting personnel, and equipment for services and special events.
Organize maintenance and repair of all music and sound equipment.
Shepherd and disciple Worship Ministry members.
Plan a yearly calendar, budget for the Music Ministry, monitor expenditures, set goals for growth, and order new equipment as needed.

Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, consistent spiritual and moral character, and lifestyle complying with the covenant of CBC and the biblical leadership qualifications of an elder described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Agreement with the doctrinal statement of CBC.
Competent in organization, administration, and interpersonal relationships.
Potential and desire to remain in a long-term ministry at CBC.
Successful music ministry experience.
Adequate skill and education for the position.
Properly ordained.
