Position

Music Teacher — part-time role focused on teaching music lessons according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, increasing student count, and fostering a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
• Assist with customer service as needed to build long-term student relationships and provide a great experience
• Other duties as assigned

Student & Parent Partnership:

• Maintain frequent communication with students and families, building trusting relationships
• Share progress with students and/or parents; align goals and milestones

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field
• Ability to teach one or more instruments proficiently (e.g., drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.)
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area to be taught
