  • Draft press releases, media alerts, pitch emails, and key messages for public announcements

  • Maintain and update targeted media lists, ensuring they are accurate and current

  • Coordinate media outreach, pitch story ideas, and track follow-ups

  • Monitor press coverage, compile reports, and identify opportunities for increased visibility

Content Creation & Brand Communications

  • Support the creation of content for press, social media, newsletters, and other communication channels

  • Help design and assemble media kits, fact sheets, and promotional packages

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure materials align with brand guidelines

  • Proofread and edit written materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and tone consistency

Event & Activation Support

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of media events, product launches, and community activations

  • Manage event logistics, including vendor communication, scheduling, and staffing coordination

  • Help prepare event materials, coordinate shipments, and oversee on-site setup and teardown

  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, partners, and media during events

Administrative & Research Tasks

  • Maintain PR calendars, timelines, and campaign trackers

  • Conduct research on media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments

  • Provide general administrative support to the PR and marketing teams as needed

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 1+ year in PR, communications, events, marketing, or a related field (internships and volunteer work considered)

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong grasp of grammar, AP style, and persuasive messaging

  • Organization: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

  • Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between administrative work, creative projects, and on-site event support

  • Digital Knowledge: Familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and basic analytics

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (bonus for Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or PR tools like Muck Rack or Cision)

  • Attitude: A proactive, collaborative approach with a willingness to learn and contribute

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Opportunities to develop your skills in writing, media relations, and event coordination

  • A collaborative, supportive team that values creativity, initiative, and personal growth

  • Competitive pay, opportunities for advancement, and flexible work options when possible

  • A workplace culture that celebrates innovative ideas and outstanding execution
