Overview

Insta360’s Los Angeles team oversees Marketing, PR, Business Development, Video Production, and Sales across North America. We are looking for an experienced Channel Marketing Manager to lead our channel strategy, build strong relationships with retail partners, and execute campaigns that drive product sales, brand awareness, and market growth. This individual will play a key role in expanding Insta360’s presence across multiple distribution channels, leveraging partnerships with key retailers and resellers to promote our innovative products and fast-growing brand. Other responsibilities include creating and developing marketing resources for channel customers and sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to support conferencing product’s business goals, ensuring strong media coverage across platforms (e.g., print, digital, broadcast, podcast).
  • Manage media budgets and ensure all campaigns are executed effectively within allocated resources.
  • Support both B2C and B2B media outreach, by positioning the products in the audio-visual, enterprise communication, IT, and video conferencing spaces.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global media outlets, PR agencies, AV industry publications, analysts, and relevant B2B platforms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and brand-aligned responses.
  • Craft and pitch press releases, case studies, op-eds, media kits, and other communication materials to secure earned media placements.
  • Represent Insta360 at media events and local industry activities; preference for candidates located in the U.S. to facilitate in-person engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in public relations or media strategy, with a mix of consumer and B2B focus, preferably in tech, audio-visual, or conferencing-related industries.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong network or experience working with AV/IT publications, professional media outlets, and industry analysts is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a flair for storytelling and the ability to craft narratives that resonate across different markets and cultures.
