Overview

Join to apply for the Volunteer: Grant Reporter role at Mentor A Promise. We partner with family temporary housing sites across New York, educational institutions, and community organizations to create a strong support network for young people experiencing homelessness, helping them overcome challenges and forge their own path to success. We connect students with our mentors for in-person and online programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with funders by documenting and reporting on the progress and outcomes of funded programs.
• Gather data, track project milestones, and draft clear, impactful reports that show how funding is being used and the results achieved.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to synthesize data, stories, and outcomes into clear, funder-friendly reports.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with program and grant teams.
• Familiarity with grant reporting formats or willingness to learn.

Commitment

• Minimum commitment 6 months.
• Expected workload 5-6 hours per week, though actual time may vary depending on team workload and ongoing projects.
