ProfitSolv is a SaaS business services provider for the legal and accounting industry. We are looking for a SEO Strategist to join our growing team. The SEO Strategist will be a key member of the marketing team leading the strategy, execution and growth of key websites. The SEO Strategist will develop cohesive SEO strategies that deliver measurable organic growth, healthier site technical metrics, and relevant content that drives qualified traffic and conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Development of an evolving SEO roadmap that aligns with business goals.
  • Maintain an SEO backlog (prioritized by impact/effort) and present tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Organize strategy in major SEO pillars: Content, Technical, Offpage, Onpage
  • Monitor competitors in the legal/accounting verticals.
  • Run technical audits and remediation (site architecture, crawlability, rendering, page speed, indexation, canonicalization).
  • Identify and implement on-page improvements (title tags, meta descriptions, structured data).
  • Content planning and topical clusters targeting legal and accounting firms.
  • Collaborate with brand and editorial colleagues to develop and optimize SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies and addresses the needs of our audience.
  • Create SEO content briefs and QA deliverables for search intent, structure, and schema.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers, and content to align with search intent.
  • Improve site architecture, internal linking, and navigation to enhance crawlability and user experience.
  • Implement and maintain structured data/schema markup to improve search visibility and rich result opportunities.
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies focused on high-quality, relevant, and authoritative backlinks.
  • Monitor backlink profile health, disavow harmful links, and track off-page metrics to evaluate impact on rankings.
  • Expand into digital PR, outreach campaigns, and partnerships to increase brand visibility and domain authority.
  • Monitor and analyze organic search performance and lead generation metrics.
  • Leverage reporting from tools such as GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs and HubSpot.
  • Distribute regular reports on KPIs, including rankings, organic traffic, sessions, conversions, and more.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment & communications.
  • Hold cross-functional syncs and roadmap prioritization sessions, presenting impact/effort tradeoffs and clear owners.
  • Deliver concise executive dashboards and detailed monthly summaries tying SEO work to business KPIs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5 -7 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in B2B SaaS and multi-site environments.
  • Proven track record owning SEO end-to-end and delivering measurable organic growth.
  • Strong technical SEO skills (site architecture, crawl/index management, JS rendering, Core Web Vitals).
  • Hands-on with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
  • Experience developing content strategies mapped to buyer journeys.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot a plus
  • Knowledge of emerging search technologies, specifically AEO and GEO
