Overview
H2M Architects + Engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, environmental consulting firm seeking a licensed Architect to join our Westchester team.
A Little About You:
Come join our multi-disciplined team of architects, engineers and environmental scientists in our Westchester office. We’re looking for a Studio Director with 15+ years’ experience in architectural design. In this role, you will supervise and develop an architectural team for both public and private clients. You will coordinate the efforts of both in-house and outside teams who handle structural engineering, MEP design, civil and environmental engineering services. We’re looking for an enthusiastic go-getter who is just as comfortable managing the work as they are interfacing with clients and supervising a team of architectural professionals.

About the Role:
- Manage studio budget and ensure projects stay within budget
- Recruit, train, develop, and celebrate the successes of the architectural studio team
- Act as an elevated point of contact for assigned clients
- Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
- Lead the local production teams in the development, planning and successful execution of projects
- Take ownership for quality execution of all projects undertaken by the team
- Continuously evolve workflow processes and improve studio efficiency
- Oversee operational budget for studio and overall studio performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
- 15+ years of architectural design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture required; Master’s preferred
- Professional RA required
- Architecture enrollment in NCARB IDP preferred
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design; ability to manage and supervise staff
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
- Knowledge of project specifications & CSI division formatting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Salary — The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $165,000 annually.
Note: The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications.
Salary or hourly rate indicated does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
