Position: The General Manager will oversee all sales and operational functionality in the studio.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
- Confident in generating personal sales
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
- Solution-based and results oriented with a competitive spirit
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes with good judgment
- Affinity and passion for fitness
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Highly organized, data management proficient, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and neat
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the public
- Proficiency with computers and studio software
Duties:
- Lead generation including grassroots marketing and networking
- Implement sales processes to convert prospects to introductory classes
- Membership and retail sales
- Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Enforce studio policies and procedures
- Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
- Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
- Other duties as assigned
