Primary Purpose
At Coach Creative Studio, we believe in the power of storytelling. Sometimes our stories come from global culture. Sometimes from the passions of our communities. But they always romanticize the products we create. We are looking for a Senior Design Director who will bring best practice visual identity to all Coach campaigns, from site to YouTube to OOH, driving best practice creative design to help Coach stand out in category.
Responsibilities
- Vision & Strategy: Lead powerful design strategies and systems for products and campaigns.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee and execute projects from conception to completion, providing creative direction and guidance to the team, driving best practice design principles across all outputs, including video editing, motion and digital direction.
- Design Leadership: Lead an existing team of video editors and designers, work cross functionally with Ecomm designers and build a network of freelance motion and VFX contributors.
- Present & Promote: Champion Design to cross functional teams, articulating the "why" behind ideas and how they will captivate audiences and achieve objectives.
- Drive Best Practice: Bring fresh, imaginative design perspectives to the team with new trends, innovations, and techniques that will elevate our campaigns.
Qualifications
- 10+ Years Experience: Extensive experience in a design role within an advertising agency, marketing firm, or in-house creative team, with a strong preference for fashion, luxury and/ or beauty.
- History Of Best Practice: Extensive experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative projects with in-depth knowledge of production processes and best practices.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express, Firefly, After Effects) and skilled in Figma.
- Strong Team Building & leadership: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams, build skill sets and grow the team with new and diverse talent.
- Naturally Collaborative: Highly collaborative and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented, high-pressure production environment where speed and quality are paramount.
- Passion for Creativity: A genuine passion for creativity and a drive to push boundaries and deliver exceptional work.
