The Role
We’re hiring a Senior / Lead UX Designer as our first full-time design hire. You’ll own the design function and work closely with product and engineering to create consumer experiences that feel addictive and delightful. Inspiration from gaming, social apps, and other sticky consumer products is exactly what we’re looking for.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end design for new features, from low-fi sketches to high-fi prototypes.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to ship engaging, gamified consumer experiences.
- Design UX for AI-powered features like:
- redecorating uploaded room photos
- remixing furniture/design inspirations
- generating cost and home value estimates
- Establish design systems, visual language, and UX best practices.
- Partner with leadership to set the vision for consumer experience.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio of consumer-facing products.
- Experience in gaming, social media, or other high-engagement consumer apps.
- Strong Figma and prototyping skills.
- Comfortable in an early-stage startup environment.
- Bonus: Experience in real estate, proptech, or fintech.
