Responsibilities

• Plan daily/weekly visual workload with leadership guidance to support sales goals, events, and promotions.
• Execute weekly visual assessments and partner with leaders to improve store visual execution and guest experience.
• Assess and guide the execution of visual standards across the total store to elevate visual presentations.
• Support the execution of the company Visual Merchandising strategy, visual standards and In-Store Marketing (ISM) across all pertinent areas of the store.
• Support and validate the execution of all visual presentations in the store in partnership with leaders.
• Set overhead spotlights to highlight key merchandising presentations.
• Collaborate with leaders to solve merchandising issues and adjust sets to create inspiring presentations.
• Teach team members visual standards and signing and affordability strategies to create inspiring visual moments that drive sales.
• Maintain organization of backroom space and stay up to date with signing tools and fixtures; set all non-planogram ISM elements.
• Communicate and support team onboarding, continuous learning, and help close knowledge gaps through training and hands-on experiences.
• Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse perspectives and promoting equitable experiences; maintain ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and take corrective action when possible.
• Create a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 to 2 years of visual merchandising experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales
• Strong understanding of current trends and brand style
• Ability to lead and influence store teams to follow visual merchandising processes
• Effective communication skills and ability to use technology and handheld devices as directed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; manage workload and prioritize tasks
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements & Additional Expectations

• Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
• Operate equipment such as WAVs and pallet jacks
• Lift up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of the shift
