Overview

Leading global provider of multi-broker, multi-asset trading systems to the buy-side, is accelerating the technical evolution of the financial markets by providing a fully integrated, customer-oriented trading service platform to institutional investors. The proprietary platform links institutional investors and sell-side firms together to facilitate order routing, algorithmic trading, execution management, clearing, and additional value-added services, such as pre-trade analysis, real straight-through-processing, post-trade analysis, and prime brokerage enabling across all asset classes.

Role – Web Developer with significant Java client side, web, multithreading, multi-user, and n-tier application development experience. The successful candidate will work closely with a small team of Java developers to develop, maintain and support its electronic trading and prime brokerage related services.

Required skills and experience

• Web development experience and understanding of performance and usability issues
• Web programming JavaScript, Ajax, WebSockets, AngularJS, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap
• Multi-threaded Java programming
• Java-based multi-tiered and/or distributed enterprise application development
• Object oriented design
• Automated unit and integration testing
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
