Customs Entry Writer – Boston (Office-Based)

An international logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join their Boston office. This is a great opportunity to work with a globally respected organization known for its operational excellence and commitment to compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs entries for import shipments (air & ocean)
• Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and related regulatory requirements
• Communicate with clients, customs brokers, and government agencies
• Resolve delays or discrepancies in the clearance process
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and internal review

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in customs brokerage or import operations
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and HTS classification
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with systems like Cargowise or similar platforms preferred
• Must be comfortable working full-time in an office-based environment
