The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online Business Writing tutors with students nationwide. You can set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and work from home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online via the Live Learning Platform, deliver effective Business Writing instruction, and tailor lessons to individual students.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Be matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Use Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time support and engagement features.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and you get paid up to twice per week.
• Maintain professional communication and provide engaging, personalized lessons.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Business Writing and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base rates start at $18/hour with increases for specialized subjects; earnings can reach up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct.
• Remote tutoring with no commuting required.
• We handle logistics and payments; you simply invoice for your sessions.

Note: Varsity Tutors does not contract with tutors in Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico.
