We’re seeking an experienced and imaginative Instructional Designer to join our Enablement team at Trusted Shops. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective learning experiences for our organization. You’ll work hand-in-hand with subject matter experts, trainers, and stakeholders to uncover learning needs, design impactful materials, and ensure every solution drives measurable results. You have a strong command of instructional design methodologies, are fluent in modern learning technologies, and excel at turning complex ideas into engaging, accessible content. Your communication and project management skills keep initiatives on track, while your ability to coordinate internal communications ensures that every learning program is understood, embraced, and put into action.
Responsibilities
Learning Needs Analysis & Solution Design – Identify training needs with subject matter experts and align learning objectives to organizational goals.
Instructional Design & Content Development – Create engaging learning materials (e-learning, presentations, guides) using effective instructional strategies and technologies.
Assessment & Continuous Improvement – Develop evaluation methods to measure learning impact and update content based on feedback and performance data.
Project & Stakeholder Management – Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and trainers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with consistent quality.
Internal Communication & Collaboration Tools – Facilitate information flow, manage announcements, and implement digital platforms to improve team communication and collaboration
Qualifications
Educational & Professional Background
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field, with proven experience creating effective learning materials.
Instructional Design Expertise
– Strong knowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles, and instructional design methodologies, plus proficiency with e-learning tools and LMS platforms.
Technical & Multimedia Skills
– Skilled in multimedia development software (e.g., Highspot, Articulate) and instructional technologies for engaging content creation.
Project & Problem-Solving Skills
– Excellent project management, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Languages & Collaboration
– English C1 (mandatory) and German (a plus), with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.
