Tier 3 NOC Network Engineer , you will tackle complex and high-priority support challenges in a dynamic enterprise environment. You will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with NOC and operational teams to manage ticket resolution, lead critical platform upgrades, and provide in-depth technical analysis of network outages. Your leadership and expertise will be vital in maintaining and enhancing network reliability and performance. Responsibilities

Lead and implement new/enhanced network infrastructure and technical refresh projects. Facilitate engineering design calls and contribute to solution development. Make recommendations to improve operational efficiency in network monitoring and management. Apply and contribute to knowledge management through knowledge articles and the solutions database. Monitor and analyze network performance, develop capacity planning documentation, and manage IP allocation tables. Create, review, and maintain SOPs for network operations in the KM system. Perform system patching, including IAVA patches, and execute IOS/software upgrades on routers and switches. Troubleshoot system failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution of critical network issues. Lead ticket resolution efforts and support Network OPS staff with proper categorization, routing, and closure of incidents. Provision network resources (switches, routers, VLANs, Krypto) and maintain administrative access to diagnose and resolve issues. Configure, deploy, and manage network monitoring systems. Assist in lab testing and documentation to validate new hardware/software solutions and disaster recovery plans. Support engineering teams in testing, design validation, and performance evaluation of network configurations. Travel to remote sites as needed for network administration and engineering activities (up to 25% CONUS). Support physical tasks such as unpacking and moving network equipment when required. Qualifications

Required Qualifications Active TS security clearance or the ability to obtain SCI and a polygraph. IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Cisco CCNA or Security+). Strong experience in Tier 3 NOC support, network troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Ability to work independently and lead teams in high-pressure environments. Preferred Qualifications Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Experience with network monitoring systems, SOP development, and large-scale infrastructure upgrades. Familiarity with classified network environments and federal network compliance standards. Details
