Associate Director, Consumer Marketing – US Rare Hematology
Overview This role will drive consumer digital marketing efforts with the primary focus on rilzabrutinib. Rilzabrutinib is an innovative BTK inhibitor and a “pipeline in a pill” with its anticipated first launch in Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), an autoimmune rare blood disorder. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams and agencies to drive the creation and ongoing optimization of digital campaigns, aligning digital plans and strategies with brand objectives, goals, and budgets. This position will manage the execution of digital marketing tactics including personalization and audience-driven segmentation. Depending on need, this person may collaborate on HCP digital efforts with the HCP marketing team. This role is based in Cambridge, MA and reports to the consumer marketing lead for rare hematology.

Main Responsibilities
Familiarity with brand strengths, opportunities, competitive challenges, and key attributes across the brand lifecycle to support digital engagement activities that drive desired behavior change.
Understand multiple consumer channels and how to integrate them to deliver cross-channel customer journeys.
Maintain a constant focus on delivering the best customer experience in every interaction.
Develop actionable digital measurement plans, select KPIs, and set goals, targets, and milestones aligned to business objectives.
Improve key performance metrics to attract and move audiences with content (e.g., organic prospect traffic, time on page, CTRs, subscribers, form fills, registrations).
Lead data- and insight-based steering of digital investments; share insights and shape recommendations based on behavioral and performance data to assess campaign lift and ROI across consumer and HCP customer types.
Act as the key point person for high-profile Sanofi digital initiatives (e.g., Digital Accelerator) and pilots.
Adapt to the evolving digital landscape to identify opportunities delivering maximum brand impact.
Collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
Self-starter with proactive communication and presentation skills.
About You
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries.
Brand/digital marketing and customer experience planning.
Strategic digital planning and execution.
Ability to build cross-functional consensus.
Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and their impact on customer relationships.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing trends and innovations.
Ability to interpret digital marketing insights and provide optimization recommendations based on data.
Agency management experience.
Regulatory review experience.
