Mako Mobile is an EA SPORTS unit responsible for the development and worldwide live operations of NBA Live Mobile and Madden Mobile. The Mako Studios team focuses on designing immersive mobile gaming experiences and is seeking passionate and creative new team members to design the future of mobile gaming. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Art Director, producer, and art team to brainstorm live content art concepts, in-game brands, and style kits Create multiple design iterations informed by creative test results, aligning with product art and design styles Complete projects within deadline-driven timelines Create assets using traditional graphic design principles with emphasis on 3D, photo bashing, and paint-over techniques Execute projects with attention to detail Help define the visual tone of the UI and ensure alignment with the product’s overall art direction Work with the Experience Design Director to develop UI screens and maintain the design system, ensuring a consistent and immersive player experience while aligning with usability, accessibility standards, and brand Your Qualifications

1+ years of relevant experience and/or a degree in an art or design-related field Strong graphic/visual design skills, including screen layout, composition, typography, color theory, illustration, and iconography Strong background in traditional art principles including composition, lighting, and visual hierarchy Experience working with multiple stylistic approaches Valuable contributor in all stages of creative production from brainstorming to delivering assets Required Skills

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Experience with color, composition, and typography Working knowledge of Figma or similar design software Illustration and concept art experience Photo bash and paint-over experience Ability to create eye-catching, engaging visual designs for game-related marketing campaigns Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team Positive attitude with ability to give and receive constructive feedback Excellent organizational and communication skills Compensation And Benefits

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors (education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) $72,300 - $99,800 CAD In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
