Overview
JRAD is seeking candidates for a contingent hire position supporting the Joint Program Executive Office for CBRN Defense (JPEO-CBRND). This is a hybrid position based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Roles/Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic communications to support JPEO-CBRND leadership, conveying mission and vision to internal and external stakeholders. Create and manage multimedia content (graphics, infographics, videos, presentations) to visually communicate complex CBRN topics. Plan and execute outreach events, including timeline management, VIP coordination, and event logistics. Lead and manage social media strategy, ensuring relevant and engaging content across platforms to maintain public visibility and stakeholder engagement. Design and maintain SharePoint-based internal communication tools, dashboards, and knowledge management systems. Develop high-impact messaging materials such as speeches, talking points, and video scripts aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to align communication efforts across the DoD. Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree and PMP Certification from an accredited college or university 15 years or more of experience working in the DoD CBRND organizations and at least 5 years supporting a 2-star level command Documented senior executive service experience planning, implementing, and analyzing strategic communication and outreach activities for a DoD acquisition program Numerous years of experience developing, managing, and facilitating outreach events such as conferences Security Clearance
