As the Sr. Marketing Manager for AI Foundation, you will lead the marketing strategy, positioning, and storytelling for SAP’s flagship enterprise AI platform. This role drives awareness, adoption, and differentiation in the competitive AI landscape and is responsible for building and executing a marketing plan that elevates AI Foundation’s impact and communicates its value to customers. Role focus : lead end-to-end marketing efforts for SAP’s enterprise AI platform, including defining positioning and messaging, supporting go-to-market strategies, and shaping customer engagement. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Corporate Marketing to craft a narrative that demonstrates how AI Foundation enhances productivity and decision-making for SAP customers. Key responsibilities
Define and execute the marketing strategy for AI Foundation, ensuring clear positioning and differentiation in the enterprise AI landscape. Craft compelling messaging and storytelling for enterprise customers, technical buyers, developers, and business leaders. Develop high-quality demonstrations that showcase AI Foundation’s capabilities across SAP solutions for marketing moments, events, and press engagements. Lead cross-functional collaboration across SAP’s marketing and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to AI Foundation’s positioning and customer engagement. Orchestrate go-to-market plans for AI Foundation, aligning digital marketing, content, field enablement, and demand generation. Track AI market trends, competitive positioning, and customer feedback to influence product roadmaps and marketing strategy for AI Foundation. Engage with customers, analysts, and industry influencers to establish SAP’s thought leadership in AI-powered enterprise productivity. Drive product marketing excellence by aligning AI Foundation’s messaging with SAP’s broader Business AI strategy and its integration across SAP’s ecosystem. Drive thought leadership by creating content such as blogs, whitepapers, customer stories, executive presentations, and identifying opportunities for speaking engagements, webinars, and industry events. Experience & Skills
Clear understanding of tech-driven business solutions, particularly AI and enterprise AI adoption trends. Experience leading B2B product marketing for AI-powered or cloud-based solutions, focusing on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market execution. Demonstrated experience in developer marketing, including engaging technical audiences and driving adoption of tools among developers. Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing narratives for business leaders and technical decision-makers. Storytelling expertise with a track record of creating high-impact content, keynote presentations, and engaging demo experiences. Compensation Range Transparency : SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the role. The targeted combined range for this position is 162800 - 276800 (USD). The actual offer will depend on education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, and other factors.
