The

Federal Grant Writer and Resilience Strategist

will contribute to helping our clients navigate complex funding landscapes and successfully identify and secure grant funds made available under clean energy initiatives and other federal legislation and programs. A successful candidate will support complex client delivery teams of internal and external stakeholders at the intersection of federal funding, grant writing, and resilience. This is a

that will be

remotely

based with client travel involved as needed . Responsibilities

Develop and write federal grant application draft(s); compile, write, and edit federal grant applications exhibiting strong expository writing skills and a high-level command of grammar and spelling. Collaborate with clients to design and deliver solutions to achieve strategic priorities for resilience and climate initiatives. Conduct resilience and climate-related risk and opportunity assessments. Research and benchmark industry-wide resilience and climate programs and initiatives. Author professional technical memos, reports, and proposals summarizing complex concepts and project outcomes associated with resilience and climate. Develop and lead virtual or in-person training and workshops on federal grant writing and grant management processes. Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of professional consulting, government, and/or non-profit experience focused on resilience, sustainability, climate, and/or environmental management. Bachelors degree in public administration, public policy, environmental science, emergency management, engineering, energy, sustainability, or a related field; Master's Degree is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and capacity to work directly with clients, managing relationships and providing advisory services. Strong experience with grant strategy, grant planning, and/or grant writing. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret federal program policies, rules, and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range of $80,000-$130,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
