Content Manager, AllModern — Wayfair. Our ambition is to build the world’s largest online specialty retailer with AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main. We are looking for a Content Manager for AllModern to help achieve AllModern’s vision to be the best of modern, all in one place. The Content Marketing Manager’s job is to ensure our editorial content and onsite strategy are key drivers of credibility and loyalty for our business. You will thread the needle between merchandising and creative teams to build, manage, and execute the content franchises/campaigns that differentiate our business. You will determine the most effective way to execute that content, evolving the strategy based on performance, customer journey, and the macro environment both on site and across marketing channels. At the core, our content managers are strong in both quantitative and qualitative analysis and strong cross-channel collaborators. They thrive in fast paced environments, and are willing to roll up their sleeves to identify opportunities. What You’ll Do
Spearhead end-to-end AllModern go-to-market strategy and execution, inclusive of partnering with merchandising team on product priorities, building a reflective content plan, briefing creative, owning shot list and channel distribution plan, managing brand comms calendar and reporting out performance on season close Lead ownership for onsite experience - including strategy, optimizations, and performance to ensure customers are engaging with content. Drive site transformation initiatives for Specialty Retail Brands with GM, site merch and storefront team towards parity with specialty competitors Partner with paid marketing teams to scale the content strategy, key franchises, and campaigns across channels and manage inputs. Work with email marketing team to build event curation strategies that map our brand priorities to key products features. Collaborate with organic social agency to build a monthly content calendar that balances our strategic priorities with social first content. Share perspective on key imagery and franchises that require custom reels/video to tell an effective story Own end to end process for in-store catalogs inclusive of briefing creative on overall content strategy for book and collaborate on pagination to ensure products have the appropriate share of voice, owning communication What You’ll Need
6+ years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, merchandising, or a related field Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills across teams and levels Proven ability to collaborate, take initiative, and drive results A problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment Balanced understanding of both creative and business perspectives Ability to influence senior stakeholders. A team-oriented attitude, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach Proficiency in Google suite tools such as Slides, Sheets & Looker Base pay range
$99,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $110,000 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units will be provided as part of the compensation package. This is a hybrid position located in our Boston, HQ. M-Th are in office and Friday's are remote.
