AI Interaction Designer / AI Experience Architect
Location: Chicago, IL We are seeking an experienced AI Interaction Designer/AI Experience Architect to join our team. In this role you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing conversational AI experiences for our B2B AI platform. You will combine technical expertise in AI systems with strong user experience design test skills to create intuitive, effective AI interactions that drive business value. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and curate high-quality question-answer pairs to train our B2B AI systems on proprietary data Create comprehensive prompt libraries tailored to different personas, use cases, and business contexts Drive AI adoption across the organization through effective prompt engineering and user experience design Analyze AI interaction patterns and optimize conversation flows based on user feedback and performance metrics Collaborate with data science, product, and business teams to align AI capabilities with business objectives Document best practices for AI interaction and establish standards for prompt engineering Conduct regular testing and quality assurance of AI responses and conversation flows Qualifications
Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in UX design, conversation design, or related field with focus on AI/ML systems Demonstrated expertise with multiple conversational AI models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama, Bard) Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data analysis Experience creating training datasets for machine learning models Strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques and best practices Excellent written communication skills with ability to craft clear, concise, and contextually appropriate content Experience designing for different user personas and business contexts Preferred Qualifications Background in natural language processing (NLP) or computational linguistics Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems Knowledge of semantic search and vector databases Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks and metrics Experience in B2B software environments Portfolio demonstrating successful AI interaction design projects Skills & Attributes
Creative problem-solver with strong analytical thinking Detail-oriented with excellent quality control Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly experiences Collaborative team player who can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Passion for emerging AI technologies and their practical applications User-centered design approach with empathy for end-user needs Additional Information
