The Director of US Marketing, Product Portfolio will create and implement the overall development and implementation of the US surgical portfolio strategies, while leading all core product and sales enablement initiatives. This role is responsible for executing product positioning, product management, and utilizing clinical data and claims to support marketing efforts for all US Surgical Vision product portfolio including all Phaco Systems, Catalys Femtosecond Laser, iLASIK Refractive suite, TECNIS family of IOLs, OVD and all other disposable surgical products. The director will enable the sales organization with the necessary sales and support tools, target and segment customers, and lead various new product introductions. The role also involves partnering on sales training, professional education, lifecycle management, pricing and revenue growth programming, and forecasting with finance and commercial operations to ensure accurate demand planning and revenue building. Key partnerships include Global Strategic Marketing, Sales, Education, Training, Prof Ed, Sales Operations, Finance, Strategic/Corporate Accounts, R&D, Corporate Communications, and outside agencies and vendors. Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute US strategic plans for the full product portfolio, including identifying target markets, key customer segments, defining product positioning, and conducting market research to drive business growth. Coordinate with Finance and Global Business Analytics to determine performance trends and market growth assumptions to build realistic business plan targets for BP, JU, NU and ongoing IBP. Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales enablement strategies and tools, including target customer identification, sales promotional programs, and effective communication materials. Champion pricing strategies and revenue growth programs to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive market positioning. Lead New Product Introductions (NPI) initiatives with cross-functional teams to launch new products. Develop materials and support tools for the sales organization to promote products effectively. Work with Med Affairs, R&D and Professional Engagement to implement clinical data and claims that support product positioning and marketing efforts, ensuring claims are evidence-based and compliant. Collaborate with demand planners and supply to forecast and secure supply aligning with revenue and consignment targets. Contribute to high-level decisions by evaluating value proposition, market landscape, and target audience to build compelling business cases. Collaborate with training and professional education to implement portfolio strategy, messaging, tools and data into sales force training and programs. Partner with Sales Operations to manage KPIs through dashboards and reporting of leading and lagging indicators to senior leaders. Oversee lifecycle management of existing products, evaluate performance, identify improvements, and coordinate with demand, consignment, and finance to optimize inventory and end-of-life planning. Support business and financial objectives within the allocated marketing budget. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred. Minimum of 10 years marketing experience required, with downstream marketing experience and proven launch execution. Experience in capital equipment marketing within the surgical market; strong leadership and change management skills; ability to lead in a matrix environment. Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and high learning agility; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. Strong talent development and culture-building capabilities; outstanding communication, collaboration, and influence skills. Broad business acumen with P&L orientation; ability to work effectively across functions. Approximately 25% domestic travel required. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850. This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus.
