The Opportunity Kipsu is seeking a Marketing Activation Specialist to join our talented team. In this position, you’ll play a unique and interesting role in a high growth, leading-edge Minneapolis based software company.

What You'll Do

As Marketing Activation Specialist, you will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns across various channels, analyzing their performance, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with the marketing team to implement strategies, monitor key metrics, and optimize marketing efforts to achieve measurable results. A strong focus will be placed on data analysis and testing to improve campaign performance and contribute to overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including email, social media, paid search, and display ads.

A/B Testing: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to optimize email, ads, and other campaign elements in new and developing markets. Use test results to refine strategies and improve performance in future campaigns.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, click-through rates (CTR), cost-per-click (CPC), and return on investment (ROI). Provide insights and recommendations for optimization based on data analysis.

Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to refine strategies based on test results and data insights. Continuously monitor campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization.

Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on campaign goals and messaging.

Tool Management: Assist in the use of marketing tools (such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms) to track campaign performance and analyze results.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

Familiarity or basic understanding of digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email marketing software). Hubspot experience preferred, but not required.

Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Basic knowledge of A/B testing, SEO, and web analytics tools.

A strong desire to learn tactical marketing execution and marketing principles while on the job.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
