Day to Day Responsibilities
You must be a superb writer and editor.
5 years of experience in UX writing, information architecture, and content strategy for products used on a variety of devices
Experience that includes most, if not all, of the above items listed under "Responsibilities"
Figma or Sketch skills
A portfolio showcasing projects with clear, concise UX writing and content strategy artifacts. Case studies are a huge plus.
An English or Journalism degree (desirable but not required)
Your responsibilities will include
Leading content design for small- to medium-sized projects
Developing UX content strategy based on business requirements, including information architecture and user flows
Conducting content audits, evaluating existing experience, and analyzing competitor experiences
Delivering microcopy that meets design system standards
Working with leadership, UX team, and project management to establish sprint deliverables
Researching, evangelizing, and following best practices for UX content strategy and UX writing
Collaborating closely with other UX designers, particularly interaction and visual designers, and UX researchers
Tracking down answers from subject matter experts and other partners
Building alignment between UX team members, product managers, and developers
Meeting grade level requirements and creating content for non-native English speakers
