Audio-Visual Engineer I (Embedded)

The Embedded Engineer I is responsible for the daily activities of Service and Support to one of our customers; this role is dedicated to supporting this specific client. This position must maintain a broad overview of RoomReady's ongoing support services as well as ground-level knowledge of any challenges or hurdles specific to any support services. This will be a fully in-person role at a customer HQ site in Bethesda, MD.
What will you be doing?
Attend weekly events meetings to discuss upcoming schedule and tickets
Receive support calls escalated by Tier 1 and provide remote troubleshooting support to clients
Document all troubleshooting steps performed per support call; escalate to Tier 3, as required
Serve as Tier 3, on-site client support upon request
Provide training for the technical staff to develop and maintain the skills required to provide the highest level of support for products the company promotes
Ensure consistent adherence to company-established technical service standards, thereby ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
Provide high-quality, professional service to clients to fulfill the client’s needs effectively
Monitor completion status of unbilled open support tickets and communicate with the client regarding status and any delays
Receive communication of escalated client problems in a timely and accurate manner and assist with escalated support
Complete needed onsite surveys for projects or pre-sales engagements
Maintain positive customer interaction throughout every job with RoomReady in mind

Skills and Qualifications As an Embedded Engineer I, the ideal candidate will need:
Advanced knowledge and experience installing and troubleshooting the installation
Knowledge of the technical aspects of the video system in which training is being delivered
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and CMR
Understanding of basic corporate A/V engineering principles
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle stressful situations
Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
Solution-focused, personable, forward-thinking and highly organized
Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external team members
Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies as they are introduced to the Company
Highly adaptable to change
Ability to present oneself professionally and positively represent the company image
