Business and Marketing Data Scientist, YouTube, Creative Research — Google. Develop metrics to track and evaluate solution deployment across teams. Create dashboards and tools to automate processes, generate reports, and guide product decisions. Curate and validate data to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the domain, business goals, and data infrastructure context. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Master\'s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience; 3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a relevant PhD degree. Preferred qualifications: 4 years of experience in analytics-driven roles; experience in advertising effectiveness, market research, brand strategy, or related field; experience with machine learning models and AI techniques; ability to work with large datasets and manage multiple projects; proficiency in statistical analysis, data intuition, and data management; excellent project management skills. Location and Compensation

Location options may include: New York, NY; Boulder, CO; Chicago, IL; Mountain View, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Sunnyvale, CA. US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000–$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by location and other factors. Compensation details reflect base salary only; bonus, equity, and benefits are described separately. About the Role and Team

The Global Product Solution, YouTube plus Creative Research team works at the intersection of data, creativity, and advertising. The team leverages statistical models, advanced data science, and AI tools to develop insights and guidance for advertisers and partners, including foundational research such as YouTube\'s ABCDs of creative effectiveness.
