Overview
Senior Marketing Manager
The Senior Marketing Manager will support technology and data center client segments, and our data center solution, focusing on demand generation and account-based marketing. This role involves marketing strategy and planning through content creation and supporting the opportunity lifecycle, including top-funnel demand generation for new markets and 1 : 1 opportunity support.
Black & Veatch's Enterprise Evolution consists of critical functions focused on identifying market opportunities and bringing together our client facing and growth efforts. Functions include Enterprise Marketing & Communications, Enterprise Sales, Enterprise Strategy, Innovation, Mergers and Acquisitions and Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Ensures delivery of Enterprise Marketing across assigned client segments both new and existing to position the BV brand and sell our full portfolio of solutions, contributing to top and bottom-line growth by filling the sales funnel with qualified leads.
Serves as the primary Marketing partner for assigned segments / solutions.
Implement and manage enterprise marketing strategy at the segment and sub-segment level.
Convert client facing segment strategies and plans into marketing plans to reach existing & new clients and new markets.
Develop and apply value propositions for Client types for selling a full portfolio of Solutions across existing and new clients.
Design, build, and project manage planned and ad-hoc marketing campaigns for portfolio.
Identify, evaluate, plan, and fulfill event, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities in coordination with external affairs.
Ensure brand management during tactical execution of all client facing marketing efforts.
Plan, schedule, manage and promote content through social media channels aligned with external affairs / social media.
Plan, manage, and develop thought leadership content for key campaign initiatives.
Plan and actively manage budgets for events, associations, advertising, and creative production that support client and market goals.
Plan, manage, analyze, and qualify lead generation results in conjunction with Demand Gen team.
Support development of Account Management Plans specific to the client type.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, with 10+ years of corporate and / or agency Marketing experience
Familiarity with data center industry and grid power services
Experience leading a diverse team for a global organization
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and creative marketing campaigns
Understanding of an integrated marketing mix to support digital and traditional marketing efforts
5+ years marketing experience in the data center industry
Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and practices
Experience in demand generation and account-based marketing
Ability to solve problems, manage marketing campaigns, develop strategies, and execute and measure the full lifecycle
Minimal supervision required, with a strong understanding of the strategy and vision of the assigned work group
Experience with integrated marketing approach to define and differentiate offerings to existing and new clients
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field; or equivalent experience
7+ years related experience
