We are seeking a commercially focused marketing leader with financial services or B2B fintech experience to lead EquiLend’s company-wide marketing strategy in New York. The role offers a unique opportunity to drive a brand refresh, a web redesign, large-scale user conferences, and a reimagination of our digital and content presence. Role Responsibilities
Manage the global marketing team across functions such as product marketing, digital, social, content, PR/events, and design. Define and lead the end-to-end global marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and go-to-market objectives. Drive execution of integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Account Management teams. Oversee and own brand governance, including brand refresh initiatives, digital presence, and integration of acquired entities. Lead the redesign of EquiLend’s corporate website and reimagine our social and digital media strategy. Act as the senior decision-maker for all marketing outputs, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment across materials including web, social, thought leadership, and event content. Lead planning and execution for key global conferences and industry events, including strategic sponsorships and user conferences. Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership for internal and external communications, including crisis communications and media relations. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key global marketing vendors, thought leadership networks, agencies, and external stakeholders. Manage the global marketing budget, monitor spend, and optimize return on investment across campaigns and channels. Represent Marketing in cross-functional leadership forums including product reviews, GTM planning, sales forecasting, and executive steering committees. Required Skills
Demonstrates excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience leading multi-disciplinary marketing teams. Extreme curiosity and track record of early adoption of best-in-class and emerging Ad/MarTech solutions that drive marketing performance. Shows strong strategic thinking and execution ability, particularly across integrated B2B marketing campaigns. Brings deep experience in brand governance, including brand refreshes, M&A brand integration, and digital presence management. Shows good knowledge of corporate communications and media relations, including working with senior stakeholders and press agencies. Demonstrates excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Product, Sales, Account Management, and Executive stakeholders. Has proven experience managing global marketing budgets, vendor relationships, and external partnerships. Exhibits strong decision-making, prioritisation, and project management capabilities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Role Location and Benefits
