PR & Communications Director, North America — Explora Journeys. Based in New York City with frequent travel, including monthly trips to the US headquarters in Miami and up to four times per year to the global headquarters in Geneva. Reports to the Global Head of PR with a dotted line to the President, Explora Journeys North America. Salary Range: $120-180k. Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s maritime expertise, our six luxury ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed to transform the cruise experience for the next generation of luxury travelers. This role shapes how our story is told in North America with a consistent and emotionally resonant brand voice. Develop and execute the annual North America communications strategy, focusing on increasing consumer awareness and engagement Lead the delivery, adaptation, and amplification of global PR & Communications campaigns to ensure relevance and impact in the local market Hold and develop strong relationships with trade and luxury lifestyle media in the local market to maximize coverage and build brand visibility Organize and manage key industry and brand events (virtual and live) to boost market presence Help identify, select and manage relevant agency partners Identify and negotiate contracts with local brand ambassadors in alignment with the global team Propose local partnership ideas to drive brand awareness and value Adapt PR & Communications Tool Kits for local activations/projects and prepare local PR tool kits Oversee thought leadership initiatives for North American management, securing media opportunities Manage media reporting and competitive analysis for Explora Journeys and competitor brands in the region Gather consumer and industry insights and share trends with the global PR/Comms team Develop and manage a strategic awards calendar to elevate brand credibility in travel, hospitality, design, and luxury lifestyle sectors Support issues management and reactive statements with internal stakeholders Support digital PR and social media integration in collaboration with global digital and social teams Measure success by media impact, brand sentiment, event execution, ambassador partnerships, and growth in brand visibility Own the PR & Communications budget, including agency/vendor management Your Journey so far

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar PR or Communications role in the Luxury or Luxury Hospitality/Travel Industry Extensive luxury media network and understanding of luxury codes; preferably in travel Proven track record of organizing luxury events Led execution and amplification of omni-channel marketing & PR campaigns Strong personal accountability and commitment to excellence Structured, well organized, and able to navigate a matrix organization Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, nationally/regionally and occasionally internationally Your Essentials
