Group Marketing Manager- eCommerce , you will guide and manage the development, implementation, and execution of segment-specific marketing strategies across all channels to help deliver the P&L objectives of our Strategic Business Units (SBUs). You will collaborate closely with Channel marketing, Product Management, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Sales, Consumer Marketing Insights (CMI), and Global Integrated Marketing (GIM) to drive alignment and deliver impactful growth strategies. This role will focus on e-commerce marketing platforms such as Amazon and Wayfair. Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation. Responsibilities
Partner with teams to develop and implement cross-channel segment strategies. Guide the creation of a comprehensive segment plan that monitors sales, volume, and margin performance across all channels. Identify conversion and loyalty opportunities and proactively develop strategies over a 3-year horizon. Collaborate with product management teams to identify and implement growth initiatives within existing portfolios and expansion areas. Understand the business unit’s P&L objectives to make go-to-market recommendations that support top- and bottom-line performance. Operate as the Segment Lead, working cross-functionally with Sales, Category Management, RGM, CMI, and GIM to align on: Growth initiatives, Program development and execution, Competitive research and actionable insights Build and maintain deep channel expertise through field travel, competitive analysis, industry engagement, and collaboration with internal partners. Partner with Brand and Merchandising to ensure messaging aligns with channel strategy and enhances the customer experience. Develop measurement tools and performance dashboards to assess program impact and continuously improve outcomes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in retail or omnichannel marketing. Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail merchandising strategies, with experience in platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, and big-box retailers. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing through influence in a matrixed organization. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a working knowledge of financial principles. Excellent communicator with the ability to build trust, share clear strategies, and engage internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP. Skilled in performance tracking using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Analytics. Ability to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, store visits, or market activations. Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree. Experience in building products or related consumer/trade goods industries. Familiarity with omnichannel strategy and coordination between wholesale and retail product strategies. Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $120,000 USD - $192,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
