C2 Graphics Productivity Solutions, Ozaukee County, WI, US
C2’s client, a new private high school in Ozaukee County opening its doors in Fall 2026, seeks a versatile contract Videographer & AV Meeting Specialist. This is a hands-on, project-based role combining technical AV support for meetings, video capture of events, and professional video editing. They specifically need someone for an upcoming fundraiser in November, an assignment that blends creative storytelling with on-the-ground AV savvy. Subsequent ongoing video shooting, editing and AV support is on-demand.
This school was founded in response to nine consecutive years of declining test scores in the public system and is committed to academic excellence with a curriculum from a local college. The school’s approach is “no nonsense” and rooted in the classics, including Latin, great books, fine arts, history, civics, and rigorous STEM classes. Start Date: October 2025, event coverage in early November; pre-event venue walkthrough required
Duration: Project-based (event plus post-event editing)
Hourly rate, commensurate with experience - client would like to compensate different rates for shooting versus editing versus AV support
Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO accrual
Technology: Talent must provide their own camera, audio, AV, and editing equipment/software unless otherwise specified
This client seeks a one-person freelance “video army” for its relaxed, high-energy “Renovation Celebration” fundraiser and auction, a jeans-friendly party with live speakers and lots of candid action. The primary assignment is to film the event, capture the energy and key moments (both planned and spontaneous), and edit the footage into a strong, short-form story for the Academy’s future marketing and community engagement. The secondary assignment is working closely with the marketing team to ensure development of compelling content for the event AND support setting up/troubleshooting all AV for the event.
Attend a pre-event site meeting with the client to scout the gym venue and review the proposed shoot list and story board
Provide estimates of time needed to complete shooting or editing requests
Capture live event footage (speeches, crowd candids, auction action, B-roll) as both tripod shots and roaming handheld/gimbal based on an agreed shot list and independent judgment
Record professional-quality audio of speakers, leveraging access to the event PA mixer if technically feasible (client will expect recommendations on best approach)
Curate and edit final clips into a compelling 3–5 minute video for post-event marketing, following the provided story board but also infusing creative judgment
Collaborate closely with the client pre- and post-event to identify and deliver on all video objectives, communicating clearly when projects might exceed original estimate or are going beyond original scope
Ensure all captured media is securely managed and promptly delivered in desired formats
Assemble and edit video clips (testimonials, stock, B-roll, and prior footage) for use in this and other live meetings and presentations
Set up, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment (projectors, laptops, audio) to ensure flawless execution for the fundraiser and future events/meetings
Support live playback of video and audio content during the fundraiser, as well as future meetings, including last-minute adjustments as needed
Dress “Construction Casual” (jeans) and maintain a friendly, professional presence throughout the fundraiser and represent the team at future events and meetings
Willingness and ability to provide estimates to the client for the time needed to complete projects/requested shooting and video edits
Proven videography experience (including live events, speeches, and B-roll for marketing use)
Advanced video editing capabilities using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent)
Technical skill with camera, audio, and AV gear; direct feed audio capture strongly preferred
Resourceful, communicative, and able to independently manage entire shoot/edit workflow from pre-event prep to final cut
Available for a pre-event venue tour and able to execute effectively in a semi-structured, dynamic party environment
Technical savvy with AV equipment, projection, laptops, and troubleshooting (live event tech support)
Experience with academic, non-profit, or fundraising events
Familiarity with live event PA systems and direct audio feeds
Ability to recommend best practices for live event A/V capture
