Showroom Designer Job at north coast tile & stone, in Santa Rosa

We are seeking an experienced and talented Designer to join our fast passed Showroom Design Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creativity, an eye for detail, have excellent customer service skills and be self-driven and organized. As a Designer, you will play a key role in creating visually appealing designs that meet our clients' needs as well as providing estimates, invoicing, managing orders and correspondence with clients, vendors and reps.

Responsibilities

·         Create innovative and functional design solutions for various projects

·         Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences

·         Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into design work

·         Generate estimates and create invoices for customers and clients.

·         Provide pricing and lead times for tile and stone for retail

·         Professional correspondence via phone/email  

·         Receive and process payments or returns for customers

·         Present design concepts to clients and make revisions based on feedback

·         Must be a supportive and collaborative team player

·         Visual merchandising for showroom

·         Physical ability to safely lift/move up to 15 lbs.
 

Qualifications

·         Showroom/ Sales (pos) experience.

·         Previous experience in Tile and Stone/ kitchen & bath design preferred

·         Knowledge of interior design principles

·         Experience with Microsoft Office & QuickBooks

·         Strong communication skills (written & verbal) to effectively interact with clients and team members

·         Outgoing and positive attitude

·         Confidence in material selections for customers

·         Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

·         Fluency in Spanish is a plus

·         Experience in product demos and upselling
