The Role
We're seeking a passionate social media professional who lives and breathes digital content. You'll be responsible for creating engaging, on-brand content that drives community growth, increases engagement, and supports our overall marketing objectives. This role is perfect for someone who understands the nuances of different social platforms and can adapt content accordingly. We are also looking for someone who can grasp community communication.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media content strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter (X), Facebook, YouTube)
- Create high-quality visual and written content including posts, stories, reels, videos, and graphics
- Plan and maintain content calendars with consistent posting schedules
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency
- Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms
Community Management
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, professional manner
- Engage with followers and build authentic relationships with our community
- Identify and engage with relevant influencers and brand advocates
- Handle customer service inquiries via social channels when appropriate
- Foster positive brand sentiment through proactive community engagement
Analytics & Optimization
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, follower growth)
- Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations for improvement
- Conduct A/B testing on content types, posting times, and messaging
- Use data to optimize content strategy and improve performance
- Monitor competitor social media activities and industry benchmarks
Campaign Support
- Support paid social media advertising campaigns
- Create content for product launches, promotions, and special events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrated marketing campaigns
- Assist with influencer partnership campaigns and user-generated content initiatives
Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and increasing engagement
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms
- Proficiency in social media management tools
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools
- Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or AI generative tools
Technical Requirements
- Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for each platform
- Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Familiarity with SEO principles and hashtag research
- Experience with content planning and project management tools
- Basic photography and video editing skills preferred
