Pierce Austin Architects has been designing in the Vail Valley for over 45 years. We are currently seeking an Architectural Designer for our Vail office. Join our team and work on a great mix of projects in and around Vail. We promote a collaborative environment with a wide variety of projects including mixed use, multi-family, custom single family, commercial retail, civic, restaurants/bars & more. Get out of the city and enjoy life in the mountains! Key Responsibilities: Work with our team to create remarkable architecture in a stunning landscape. Assemble construction documents and details. Work with the local Planning and Building Departments to achieve project approvals and permits. Produce renderings of designs for submittals and presentations. Coordinate with project leaders to develop design documents, comply with local zoning, adhere to international building codes and meet project timelines. Meet with clients on site and at our office. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelors or Masters degree in architecture (NAAB-accredited preferred). 25 years of professional experience in architectural design or related field. Strong Revit skills desired including using Revit for Construction Documents and renderings. Construction or building background valued Perks & Benefits Health: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
