Overview
Senior Level Civil Designer role at POWER Engineers in the facilities division. Our group specializes in high-performing projects with a focus on the future in food and beverage, Federal projects, and industrial facility design. Our goal is to deliver excellent projects hand-in-hand with a positive experience for our clients and our communities alike. Youll be asked to help design new buildings, remodels, and additions as well as provide drafting for structural steel design for industrial equipment supports, platforms, pipe racks, etc.
Responsibilities
- Training will be provided in our standards and practices on our computer systems.
- A major component of our design process relies on terrain modeling, including the use of Autodesk Civil3D as an integrated collaboration tool to communicate 3-D design to project teams, owners and construction professionals.
- Take ownership for the projects goals and success.
- Maintain a high-quality deliverable through a thorough QA/QC process. You will be expected to be self-motivated to deliver the best work to meet client and team expectations.
Required Education/Experience
- Associates Degree in Drafting or an equivalent technical degree
- Minimum of 7 years of civil design and terrain modeling using AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation InRoads, both, or other similar terrain and utility modeling software
- Ability to prioritize and set deadlines, and adapt to change
- Adaptability, problem-solving, and ability to learn and apply new technologies with support
- Understanding of basic mathematical concepts
- Understanding of drawing setup and implementation of internal and client CAD standards on projects
- Ability to read Architectural, Structural, and Mechanical drawings
Desired Education/Experience
- Expertise with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Experience with MicroStation
- Prior construction experience in any construction environment

Base Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $123,000.00 per year
The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
