Join HDR as the Resources BG Regional Marketing Services Manager (RBG MSM) in Texas. This role partners with regional business development leaders, local operations, and marketing and communications leadership to drive strategic marketing initiatives that grow our regional book of business and lead pursuit teams on large or complex client opportunities.

A key part of this role is to lead, mentor, and develop RBG marketing coordinators to support increasing marketing demands and to grow the marketing team in strategic regional locations to meet RBG goals.

Responsibilities

  • Retain, develop and supervise proposal managers and marketing coordinators, as assigned
  • Manage workload demands of proposal managers and marketing coordinators
  • Lead pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies, project capture planning, and persuasive proposal and interview materials for key regional pursuits
  • Engage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teams
  • Lead quality reviews of proposal and interview materials
  • Coach interview teams to be effective at delivering key messages during interview presentations
  • Ensure the go/no-go decision process is applied in accordance with HDRs Matrix of Authority
  • Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and measure overall competitiveness
  • Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the market trends and drivers impacting our clients
  • Implement key growth initiatives and investments as defined in annual and long-term strategic plans
  • Develop and implement key client plans, including long-term strategies to capture market share
  • Ensure targeted client development plans are being worked on by marketing and business development staff
  • Lead regional content marketing campaigns to strengthen our brand, increase our visibility, and showcase our thought leaders (partnering with RBG Comms)
  • Manage regional NFB goals, marketing budgets, and financial systems to inform reporting metrics and dashboards
  • Actively participate in professional associations and industry conferences to elevate HDRs brand in target markets
  • Partner with RBG BDLs to identify current and future business development and marketing needs, and drive resulting strategies
  • Develop business relationships with teaming partners

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated 'self-starter' with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
  • Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
  • Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person
  • Demonstrated experience in winning high-value contracts in the A/E/C industry
  • Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff
