Join to apply for the Studio Manager role at Hot 8 Yoga. Hot 8 Yoga is growing and we are opening our inaugural San Francisco – Financial District studio in July. We currently operate 9 studios in Los Angeles and 1 in San Jose. We are a community-focused yoga studio, and we are seeking enthusiastic, growth-driven and hardworking Managers who love yoga to join our team.

Hot 8 Yoga offers 7 class styles: Power, Power 1, Barre, Sculpt, Hot Power Fusion and Yin. Forgot 26&2.

Job Responsibilities

• Grow Community: set and achieve sales goals (e.g., aim for 1 sale per shift); track retention, conversion, attrition, and welcome-weekers; create WOW moments for clients; conduct studio Line-ups, Roster Deep Dives and Fond Farewells.
• Hire & Develop Staff: host weekly interviews for TEAM8s (front desk/cleaning/sales) twice weekly pre-opening; host auditions to build teacher roster; process hiring paperwork; schedule and oversee new-hire shadow shifts & training; conduct quarterly performance check-ins; take a minimum of 2 classes per week to build trust with staff and improve quality.
• Clean & Maintain Studio: oversee day-to-day maintenance and submit work orders; manage inventory and recurring shipments; lead by example in keeping the studio clean.
• Teacher Training: host 3-4 teacher trainings per year; ensure trainings enroll a minimum of 15 clients and staff; collaborate with the Director of Yoga Education on candidate selection; attend training lead meetings as required.
• Budget & Administration: participate in weekly manager meetings; review KPIs and set goals; manage payroll to meet budget; optimize staff schedules for performance and studio utilization.
• Candidates Must Exhibit: eagerness to develop staff; strong communication; ability to give and receive feedback; keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 200-hour RYT certificate and ability to teach classes on the schedule
• 1-3 years of previous management experience
• Availability to work nights and weekends to be at the studio during peak hours
• Commitment to 40-50 in-studio hours per week
