Overview
Looking for a Senior Visual Designer within the Brand Creative team. You will concept and extend campaigns through digital and offline marketing channels while maintaining brand standards. The role requires collaboration with brand and marketing teams on layout revisions, concepts and presentations for stakeholder and leadership reviews. The ability to manage a high volume of assets with quick turnaround is key, with emphasis on quality and positive collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Plan, create and optimize design systems for visual assets across digital and physical media, including web, email, paid marketing, blog, social, retail and wholesale signage. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Assist the Creative Director with developing and presenting design concepts. Lead brainstorming sessions and guide the design team to create campaigns that align with brand guidelines, standards and project briefs.
- Understand and execute effectively across a 360° omnichannel marketing campaign funnel (awareness, consideration, conversion).
- Stay current on leading design trends within and outside of the mattress and home goods industry.
- Mentor creative team members by providing guidance and feedback to junior designers.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.
- Photo compositing (comping) for 3D product renders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines.
- Build and maintain working files inside a collaborative file structure; work quickly without sacrificing quality.
Our dream candidate is/has:
- 5-7 years of relevant design experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating ability to bring a brand to life in a way that aligns with brand standards.
- Proven ability to apply fundamental design skills, attention to detail, and extend concepts across multiple formats.
- Experience shaping marketing and design strategy across full funnel and omnichannel touchpoints.
- Experience animating display and social assets and building assets for multiple languages/locales.
- Skilled in preparing files for digital and offset printing, including thorough preflighting to meet technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to implement quick turnaround edits based on feedback.
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), and Box.
- This role requires working onsite at our Richmond, VA office as a hybrid employee; candidates based in New York who can work out of our NYC office are also considered.
Targeted Annual Base Salary Range: $80,000-100,000 USD.
