Overview
Grant Writer at Project Self-Sufficiency. Full-time, project-based grant writer with a demonstrable 7–10 year track record in securing major funding and government grants. Responsible for providing comprehensive written and research support for multiple programs and funding opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and clarify opportunities and needs.
- Study requests for proposals (RFPs), gather and format information including objectives, implementation, timetables, staffing, standards of performance, evaluation, and budgets.
- Write drafts, prepare executive summaries, presentations, and final submissions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate grant submissions.
- Maintain organized documentation and manage multiple deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and demonstrable success rate in securing funding required.
- 7–10 years of demonstrable, quantifiable track record in securing major funding and government grants.
- Excellent writing, research, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Organized, team-oriented, and deadline-driven.
- Experience working in a non-profit or mental health organization preferred.
