Overview

We are looking for a skilled Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in capturing high-quality video content, possess strong editing skills, and be able to tell a compelling visual story. The videographer will work closely with our creative team to produce videos that meet our company's objectives and resonate with our audience.

Responsibilities

  • Develops videos for marketing campaigns, email/website promotions, or other purposes.
  • Creates schedules, develops scripts, and selects locations or talent.
  • Directs and films projects, overseeing the work of light and sound staff; coordinates with outside vendors as needed.
  • Maintains files of projects.
  • Arranges for the repair and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
  • Plan and set up video shoots, including lighting and audio equipment.
  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts.
  • Manage video archives and organize footage.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Operate and maintain video equipment.
  • Conduct interviews and capture b-roll footage, as needed.

Travel and time requirements

Occasional travel up to 25%, along with working evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications and experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in film, media, and 2 to 4 years of experience.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems.
  • Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the office. The employee may occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Work environment and expectations

  • Draper Utah Office-based position with the potential for hybrid work within the Utah State only, subject to approval.
  • Employees must work a minimum of 2–3 days per week from the Company office.
  • Employees must maintain the same level of performance, engagement, and availability in hybrid settings as in-office roles.
