Overview

Seeking a Forward Deployed Analytics Manager to join our Data Science organization. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of data science, customer success, and product demos. You will own the design and delivery of client-facing dashboards and performance narratives, transforming complex media and business data into intuitive, impactful, actionable insights. You will blend data architecture, metric design, and visualization with client empathy, working closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to shape how our value is understood and communicated.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to define client-relevant KPIs and design dashboards that communicate business value clearly
  • Build, maintain, and productize intuitive, comprehensive dashboards in Superset that align with customer goals
  • Work with Front-End Engineering to integrate dashboards into UIs and demo flows, ensuring seamless client experiences
  • Collaborate with Data Science teams to understand data models and metric frameworks and support consistent client reporting
  • Design and document scalable data pipelines and schema structures in Snowflake using SQL and Python
  • Implement statistical validation and QA processes to ensure data integrity across all dashboards
  • Partner with Data Scientists to understand and translate ML model outputs into client-friendly metrics
  • Write production-quality Python scripts for data transformation, metric calculation, and automated reporting
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures for complex multi-source data aggregation
  • Work directly with Engineering teams to optimize data pipeline performance and reduce query latency
  • Build custom visualization components in Superset when standard charts don\'t meet client needs
  • Apply statistical analysis and data science techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
  • Translate raw data and model outputs into clear narratives and visualizations that resonate with executives
  • Support stakeholder meetings with data-backed recommendations grounded in statistical significance
  • Act as the technical bridge between Data Science, Engineering, and customer-facing teams
  • Lead technical discussions on metric definitions, data quality standards, and visualization best practices
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to understand model architectures and translate outputs for client consumption
  • Mentor team members on SQL optimization, Python best practices, and Superset development

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years in media analytics, marketing intelligence, or customer-facing analytics with hands-on technical implementation
  • Expert-level SQL proficiency with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses; ability to write complex queries, CTEs, window functions, and optimize for performance
  • Strong Python programming skills including pandas, numpy, and data visualization libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly); ability to review and understand data science model code
  • Production experience with Apache Superset including custom chart development, dashboard optimization, and embedding
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with Data Science teams to implement metrics derived from ML models
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering teams on data pipeline architecture and API integrations
  • Understanding of statistical methods and data science concepts (hypothesis testing, regression, clustering, etc.)
  • Proficiency with version control (Git) and code review processes
  • Experience with additional visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Mode, PowerBI)
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt) and data quality frameworks
  • Background in media/marketing analytics with understanding of attribution models
  • Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics
